Cor Blimey! Such vision my two eyes have seen Of faeries dancing under the crepuscules of sunset! Their skins and wings were gleamed in sweat Adorned in solar glare! Their flicks and twists and swings and sway Are brimmed with sweet duende! But one I've seen with golden skin Disrobed her cloak upon me. Thus I could see her freckled wings Unfurled so wide before me. Her zephyr-caressed auburn hair Flutters with a certain flair That I can't help but look, no, stare. Ignored by her intime affair; Unwitting, she my heart ensnare. And lo, she carried on with their sweet dance And filled the air, they, with a slight nuance And senses drown in sensuality And cupids up above at last agree: That in their dance, I'm trapped in trance And sparked a one-sided romance For I, the odds are stacked against my chance To join the faerie in a lasting dance.
